Key personnel:


  1. •President - Warren Mountcastle entered the construction business following graduation from college, where he earned a B.S. degree in Biology.  He has over 24 years of experience in the drywall and EIFS fields, and has spent an additional 10 years in the construction field within various trades.  Warren was invited to participate in a program sponsored by the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industries (AWCI), from which he received an EIFS inspector’s certification in 2000.


  1. •Operations Manager - William Swafford joined our firm with more than 40 years of experience in the drywall trade.  William relocated to his native home of Richmond from Daytona Beach, Florida, where he worked for a large commercial drywall firm for nearly 21 years.  The last 13 of those years, William served as Vice President and Chief Estimator.


  1. •Superintendent - Bucky Ramsey heads our Richmond and Central Virginia division with over 25 years of experience.  Bucky has been with Mountcastle Construction since 1986.


  1. •Superintendent - Tom Bartell heads our Tidewater and Eastern Virginia division.

Mountcastle Construction Company: Established in 1986 as a Class A Contractor specializing in metal stud framing and trusses (05400), drywall hanging and finishing (09250), ACT (09500), exterior insulated finish systems (07240), and demolition (02950).  Our company has successfully completed projects ranging from $5,000 to $2,500,000 with jobs in progress ranging up to $5,100,000.


Syntech Stucco Systems: Established in 1988  as a specialty contractor installing EIFS, stucco, plaster, and ornamental moldings.  This company has since become recognized as a leader in the industry with projects ranging from Canada, Florida, Bermuda, and the Virgin Islands.
